At Cabb-In, we strive to provide a fully circular product that is dismantleable for parts reuse. Our goal is to maximize the lifespan of our products with minimal environmental impact. We achieve this through six core sustainable product development principles.
The entire ride sustainably developed
Design
The Cabb-In is modular and therefore easy to (dis)assemble. Because of this modularity, different materials can easily be separated from each other at the end of its service life. In addition, the modularity has the added advantage that the Cabb-in can easily be changed to another version during its use phase or repaired in case of damage incurred.
Technology
SMRTCOMB material has a very long service life. We provide a 40-year warranty on the bonding of the material.
Materials
100% of the materials used are recyclable and mostly made from recycled or partially recycled materials (aluminum, glass, upholstery, stainless steel).
Production
The Cabb-In is produced entirely in the Netherlands at our factory in Tilburg. All residual materials created during production are reused. We aim to have our operation completely Co2 neutral by 2030. The products and materials we use are almost all sourced from Europe, an important factor in minimizing our CO2 footprint.
Logistics
The Cabb-In is packaged and transported directly from the factory in Tilburg to the customer with sustainable and reusable packaging. This packaging goes back to our factory for a new delivery after delivery and assembly.
Usage
The Cabb-in is equipped with energy-efficient fans and lighting that is controlled by a presence sensor. This means that steam is only used when in use.
